4 Line Aces and Faces Video Poker is a variation of the standard game of Aces and Faces version of the game. This game is offered in many of the leading online casinos, and has proved to be very popular among players from around the world. The best part of this game is that, with some careful planning and strategy, it is possible for the player to hold an advantage over the house.
The object of the game is to hold the strongest possible hand among a set of 5 cards. The advantage of the 4 Line version of the game is that it is played with four separate packs of 52 cards each (without jokers or wild cards). This means that the player has a larger chance of forming a winning combination with a set of cards. In any game of Aces and Faces, there is a special high payout for a hand which holds four Aces or four Face cards or King, Queen or Jack.
Like with any other game of Aces and Faces Video Poker, the game begins with the player making a wager. This wager depends on the machine at which the game is being played. Most casinos have machines with coin denominations ranging from $0.05 to $5 and allow the player to wager up to 5 coins per hand. A larger initial wager will mean a higher payout when a winning combination is found in any of the four hands.
Once the player chooses the wagering amount, the computer deals out five cards. The player analyzes this hand and decides which cards to hold and which to discard. Once this is chosen, the computer deals out the held cards in four rows and replaces the discards with cards from four fresh packs. These hands are analyzed for winning combinations.

I have spent quite a lot of time playing this particular version of video poker at Corals, Betfred and Paddy Power on-line casinos and have had quite a bit success, in particular the double down feature in this game can be very generous, although horribly streaky for sure - I still prefer Microgamings video poker games...
I have spent quite a lot of time playing this particular version of video poker at Corals, Betfred and Paddy Power on-line casinos and have had quite a bit success, in particular the double down feature in this game can be very generous, although horribly streaky for sure - I still prefer Microgamings video poker games in almost every respect but I do definitely like the half double feature and will often double up 3-4 times before half doubling to safeguard some of my winnings. It takes a lot of balls to double up a large win but if you manage it once you can half double, effectively keeping the original win to one side, and then continue doubling as much as you like. I've won a good few grand this way on these Playtech video poker games!

This is my favourite Playtech video poker game, although that isn't actually the largest endorsement - Aces & Faces is similar to Double Bonus Poker, which is fun but I personally prefer Double Double Bonus and similar games with very large payouts in the paytable for wins other than a Royal Flush - you can spend whole...
This is my favourite Playtech video poker game, although that isn't actually the largest endorsement - Aces & Faces is similar to Double Bonus Poker, which is fun but I personally prefer Double Double Bonus and similar games with very large payouts in the paytable for wins other than a Royal Flush - you can spend whole days playing Jacks or Better without ever hitting a decent win, whereas this game has good payouts for many 4 of a kinds, the straight flush and in particular, four aces which pays 80 coins per coin wagered. Aces & Faces then is a better bet in my opinion, and the 4-line game strikes a good balance between bet size and hit potential! One thing that I do like about Playtech is the "Half Double" feature which allows you to double up only half of your win rather than risking the lot, a feature I have not seen on Microgaming or Netent's blackjack games and one I use very regularly.
