Foxium is one of those developers that, whenever we report on new slot releases, kind of gets drowned in the tide of industry's major names such as NetEnt, Play'n GO etc. Not rising to the levels of fame as the aforementioned ones, this developer stays out of limelight and, whilst there, quietly works on underdog games, player's rare and secret favorites. While we hope Foxium gets the attention they deserve, let us review one of their most recent games that just proves just how well-rounded and soothing a slot can get.
Theme
Adelia the Fortune Wielder is a 5-reel, 20-payline game that does a great job emulating popular contemporary fantasy RPGs, at least in aesthetics and theme. While you won't find any ogres, palladins, wizards and dragons – just a lone girl, the sorceress and a warrior Adelia – nor elaborate storylines and epic battles, you will be instantly sucked into the world reminiscent of sagas of might and magic. The backdrops of the game is beautiful summer skies, beneath which a flowery meadow sits easy. The ruins of what seems like an old gothic/romaneqsue temple lay scattered on the field, giving substance and beauty of decay to the landscape. To the left of the reels, animated Adelia wields your fortune and her magic staff alike.
The loveliness of this game is further accentuated by the brilliant use of details on the slot machine itself – its roof is a grade A masonry job, and some foliage stretching across it and down to the ground is a nice touch. On the reels, awach in many colors, you will find gorgeously designed card symbols as lower symbols as well as high-end symbols like pouch, staff, book, dagger and potion. You will also encounter the Wild symbol, Multiplier Wild, a Scatter and a special Coin symbol of which we'll speak in a minute.
Still, what this reviewer regards as game's strongest point and the biggest contribution to the enjoyment of the gameplay is the stellar soundtrack. Often, slot music tends to be brash, loud and/or cheesily epic. This often distracts and creates a very unsettling, almost anxious atmosphere. This is why it's such a pleasant surprise to listen to the relaxed score, comprised of pastoral, gentle tones of flute, a bit of strings and mellow female choir in a distance. A true work of art!
Betting Options and Functions
Game's player panel takes away some of the visual quality the rest of the game so proudly boasts. On a rather plain dash, you will wind options for adjusting your spin wager – you can set it up from going as low as 0.20 to as high as 20. Symbols need to match from left to right and winnings are awarded according to the paytable. Clicking on the small menu icon at the top-left corner of the panel (just below the reels) opens a window divided into five sections: on first, you can check out the symbols' values, cashout diagram and how each special symbol and feature works. Autospins can be set from 10 to the maximum of 100. You can choose to turn off music or just the sound effects of birds chirping and symbols spinning. There is also an in-depth game info section.

Features
Adelia's Fortune Respin – Landing three multiplier Wilds on the third reel will activate the respin feature, during which the three multiplier Wilds will remain locked. As long as you keep winning, you will be getting new respins which will cease once no winning combination is hit.
Extra spins – In order to trigger the Extra spins mode, you need to land 4, 5 or 6 Scatter symbols who are appearing on reels 2 and 4. Depending on the amount of landed Scatters, you will get 10, 20 or 30 extra spins. The feature can be retriggered during the Extra spins mode. During each extra spin, you may land the special Coin symbol – it doesn't actually replace any symbols, but land in its top right corner and it gets added to your chest. And speaking of chests...
Symbols upgrade – There are three chests in total: purple, green and blue. Coins get added to them in this order: first they go to into the blue chest, then to the green one and finally to the purple. When three coins are collected, chest changes colors and symbol payouts increase by adding the x2, x3, x4 or x5 multiplier to the symbols.
Our Take
Adelia the Fortune Wielder is a beautiful nod to the world of epic fantasy games, with impeccable graphics, spectacular sound and some neat features. This is the kind of game you want to come back home to after a stressful day of work and let it work its soothing and fruitful magic on you.

Any wild symbol is hard to get, 2x wild is very very rare. At first, reading the paytable, I thought that the game is good enough for higher wins and fun both. But the balance just get drained. I only got the Milddle wild re-spin feature, which is very disappointing. If any additional wilds are fixed on the reel whether...
