After Night Falls Theme
After Night Falls is set in a town which is being terrorized by a ruthless criminal. You’ll see him pop up on the left hand side of the reels from time to time whilst his nemesis stands to left at all times. It’s the inspectors job to interact with the reels during regular play and the bonus games.
The Inspector and criminal both appear as animated reel icons, as do other tools and paraphernalia linked to both their respective trades and lives. These icons include a cat, security camera, swag bag, jewelry, televisions and more.
Keep an eagle eye out for stacked icons because this causes the icons to collapse into one icon whilst more icons fall from the top. You’ll instantly receive triple the usual prizes for that icon and gain the chance for extra prizes provided by the two extra falling symbols.
Betting Options and More Functions
The sound effects are befitting of the theme but we couldn’t help but get annoyed by them. Thankfully a mute button is on-hand, we’re not saying you won’t like them but it’s great to know sounds can be switched off quickly.
A double up round is available after any on-reel win is awarded. Pressing double up takes you to a second screen where you guess whether the coin flip will land on heads or tails. If you guess correctly your triggering win will be doubled. Obviously an incorrect guess will lose your winnings; that’s just how gambling works ;-).
After Night Falls Slot Features
Every single icon has an animated sequence attached to it when a win is paid but the best ones are reserved for bonuses. Three, four or five desk symbols in any position will award free spins which have a random multiplier (2 to 10X) attributed to them.
More free spins can be won when the wild magnifying glass appears on screen. This wild, when creating a win, will move to a different position and re-spin the reels for free whilst it remains in place. These free spins continue until the magnifying glass reaches the left reel, at which point the reels spin once more and the magnifying glass disappears.
Three or more thief icons will put you in his shoes, choosing doors for him to enter and loot. Each successful heist will award a cash prize and you continue to choose doors until the word collect is displayed.
The second bonus round is triggered when three or more Granny symbols appear on a single spin. This presents Granny’s apartment which has been looted by the criminal and it’s your job to help the Inspector collect clues. Each piece of evidence will pay credits, so it’s fun and pays well!

After Night Falls by Betsoft gives me that creeper feeling haha kind of like when you think someone is watching you but you cant see it but feel it. Weird. The symbols are spot on and the graphics are good. The pay was decent but nothing to brag over.

The game is tedious and monotonous. It is impossible to break the streak of dead spins. You keep spinning the slot and hope that any feature will hit and you will get good returns. Alas, that feature also pays out poorly. I am not satisfied with this game.

this game was kind of boring not like the other games i played. i played for an hour and i did not feel like playing here anymore. The minimum bet was small so i didnt lose that much. I wouldnt recommend this game to other but if you bet the minimum you can only lose so much.

I really like this game. I usually can manage to win a good bit on it. Of course as always I have had my share of losses on it as well. The game has three different bonuses. Two pick bonuses and one free spins bonus. So you can usually win a good bit on each of these.

The way I see it, this might be a sequel to A Night in Paris, also from the same games provider. Seems to me this game is an homage of Sherlock Holmes because of the private detective chraracter. Since it is very similar with A Night in Paris, there's nothing much to say about this game.

Personally, I'm overwhelmed by the overcrowded After Night Falls graphics. Besides, most of Betsopt's games also feature this feature. Otherwise, the game does not have great profit opportunities. At least she has not shown me so far.
