The age of mythical gods is upon us once again, which means that this is quite a familiar theme set in the Greek era. Playtech hasn’t gone all traditional though, as the five reels each have four symbol positions.

The theme might be a bit worn out, but the company has done it’s best to spice things up with some interesting bonus features. There are a few decent jackpots in the mix too, with plenty of other big wins on the normal reels.

This time around there are no gods on sight, though other items from the era do present themselves on the reels. Instead, the legendary Pegasus takes the main role in this game, and holds it through and through.

The game doesn’t come with all that many animations, though some are there. The music and sound effects are a bit more varied and just spectacular enough to fit the subject material.

As is usual, the expanded symbol count through the five reels means that there are a few more pay-lines in play too, 40 in this case. These run as per normal, from left to right, collecting wins along the way when at least three matching symbols line up.

The most valuable symbol here is the flying horse (Pegasus), though given that it is a wild, it doesn’t really sit equally with the other symbols found in the paytable. The remaining symbols pay out rather medium-level prizes, ranging between 5 and 400 times your line bet.

Overall, the returns are okay as is the RTP, but in truth, you really do need those special features to make the wins meaningful here...

Our Take

This Playtech slot is a decent addition to their collection, and perhaps worth playing if the jackpots get off the ground. We bet there are more games to come in the series, which would hint of even bigger jackpots to come. The bonus spins are also something to look forward to.
