The poker industry is growing more popular these days, especially due to the fact that this is not a mere luck game, but requires skill, tactics and good thinking. Among numerous poker variations which allow you to activate your brain cells, we are here presenting one which proved to be well accepted among poker fans: All American Video Poker with a progressive jackpot.
This Betsoft game will trigger interest in poker pros as well as beginners. Playing it doesn’t require too much experience, and the principle is the same as usual: once you are dealt cards, you should pick the ones you want to hold and deal again; if the combination of cards you get in the second dealing matches one of the winning combinations, you’ll receive a prize. The combinations in the paytable are the following: Jacks or Better, Two Pair, Three and Four of a Kind, Full House, Straight, as well as various Flush combinations. In addition, if you win a prize, you’ll be given a generous yet tricky possibility to double it in the Double Up second screen game. This option is tricky simply because you can also lose everything you’ve won in the hand if your prediction turns out to be incorrect.
To start the machine and be able to play, you need to decide how much money you want to play with. The coin amounts start at $0.25 and build up to $5, and to raise the stakes, it’s possible to place up to 5 coins per hand. Of course, the prizes grow along with the higher number of coins invested.
All these features have proved All American Video Poker as an ideal choice for so many people. Then, why shouldn’t you make it your choice, too? You never know what’s in it for you…

Looks like BetSoft were copying RTG more than a tad when creating this video poker, definitely bears more than a passing resemblance, but the 'cute' cards are ugly to me, infact the whole thing comes off as cheap and nasty, and there is also the very nasty 'slight' paytable change of the straight flush paying out just half of its normal all american rate - seems this is quite common online, I hadn't realised as I played VP almost exclusively at MicroGaming in the past, but it seems many of these smaller platforms do not pay the proper 200 coins for a straight flush in All American. Still, there is at least a double up feature and the speed of play is above average, but I still would never play it purely because of the paytable.
