What’s so special about American Blackjack? For all those who don’t know yet, it’s played with six decks of cards, and only against the dealer (so you aren’t related to other players). As usual, the point is in getting as close as possible to 21, without surpassing the number. You can pick among several bet amounts - $1, $5, $25, $50, and $100. The stakes are high, and the more you invest, the more you’ll win.
But what’s so great about Betsoft’s Blackjack is that the dealer sometimes suggests you what to do next, thus offering some sort of guidance to those of us who aren’t very proficient in blackjack, but are willing to learn. Another good feature lies in the help section, which offers some basic strategies for blackjack, which can be of good use for players who still haven’t got a strategy of their own.
There is a number of options a player can use to their benefit on the table: Split (when you get two of the same cards, split them into two hands), Double Down (when you have two cards, hand of 10 or 11, and are sure that the third will beat the dealer’s), and Insurance (used when you think the dealer may have blackjack).
Blackjack is a game which makes you put your thinking cap on. You cannot just sit back and watch the game develop on its own, but you must make decisions and thus influence the final outcome. Which is quite good – your brain is more active, and your winnings don’t entirely depend on casino odds.

I like this game and have had a few good sessions, you just need to know when to cash out as a good winning streak is quickly followed by a long stretch of losses even if you follow the basic blackjack strategy. It is definitely easy to win if luck is on your side and have enjoyed this at several casinos with some big wins...

Good options. You get to double down when you have ace card in american blackjack european doesn't allows. Players can double down on any hands, Dealers are required to stand on 17. Players can split upto 3 times. Surrender is also allowed.

As far as online blackjack games go, this one is pretty slick and easy to use. My only complaint is that it's a little too slow with multiple hands, even on the highest speed.

It's easy to get confused with the naming conventions amongst popular casino games - American Roulette of course is BAD (Features two lots of zeros compared to just one on european roulette), whereas American Blackjack is GOOD, as there is a hole card which is checked for blackjack prior to you playing your hand pointlessly...
It's easy to get confused with the naming conventions amongst popular casino games - American Roulette of course is BAD (Features two lots of zeros compared to just one on european roulette), whereas American Blackjack is GOOD, as there is a hole card which is checked for blackjack prior to you playing your hand pointlessly and potentially splitting or doubling down - note that some variants of european blackjack do return half of your wager if the dealer scores a blackjack after making these additional bets, but come on, who wants to play the whole game first? So then, American Blackjack, all it really means is that this will be a HOLE CARD game, but there are many more rules that are important to blackjack strategy which are not stated within the interface here at LCB - I recommend you hunting down a strategy card or at least the exact ruleset for Betsoft American Blackjack before starting to play this for real money, as the changes required can often be significant.
