American Roulette is a slight variant of the game of roulette. This game was built using Real Time Gaming Software and the wheel has 38 numbers including 0 and 00.To get the winning number and colour, the wheel is spun in one direction while the ball is spun in another direction along a slanted circular track around the wheel. The ball eventually falls into one of the 38 slots on the wheel to form a combination of number and colour.
Payouts are issued as per the payout table and are based on the payout ratio for the bet placed. Thus, the odds against winning if a bet is placed for 0 is 37 to 1, meaning that the casino pays $37 for every $1 bet placed. All winning spaces have, statistically, a negative expected value. Traditionally, the house always has the upper hand in every bet placed.
The roulette design is spread across the centre of the screen and the player’s total winnings/losses are also displayed. Bets can be placed from 1 to 100 chips. A bet which is available only in this version is the five bet; here players bet on 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The regular roulette bets are also available and players have resorted to several strategies to outsmart the wheel.

Roulette such easy game to learn. Even beginner can catch on quick, just try to pick the right number the wheel stops on or choose a black or red color. However, heres a tip: Always play European version if its available as there is only One Zero on the wheel instead of Two so your odds are significantly better.

RTG are most certainly the 'marmite' of online casino games in my view! Whether you personally love or hate their offerings, I don't think it can be denied they generally look quite professional, if a little bland, and often favour function over form when required, which is a good choice in my opinion. This particular American Roulette is well presented, I like the look of the table and the spinning wheel, but would have liked to have a quick spin function available. Note that RTG do offer a European Roulette game with half the house edge too, which has to be a better choice for everyone.
