A traditional baccarat table in a brick and mortar casino would be cordoned off from other games; the table minimum bets are usually high and there are generally 3 dealers and 12-14 players per table. The deal rotates around the table and the same person continues to deal as long as the banker wins the bets. If he does not wish to deal, he can pass on the shoe to the adjacent player.
Baccarat has many versions, including the mini and midi. The game is generally played with eight decks of cards, though a more aggressive 6-deck and single deck version is also popular. There are just three possible results-player, banker and tie. A commission (usually less than 5%) is payable to the dealer on the winnings and this is paid when a player cashouts, though this is dispensed with in some casinos and even money is paid.
