Blackjack Switch is not your typical Blackjack game. This particular version from Viaden, delivers an exciting game with a bit of a spin. Once you give this action-packed variation a try, you may have a hard time going back to the classic. The rules are ever so slightly different, but the object of the game is the same: Get the total of your cards as close to 21 as you possibly can, without exceeding that number, of course.
How To Play Blackjack Switch:
Now that you know the object of the game remains the same, let’s get into exactly what makes this game stand out. Card values will be virtually the same as in standard Blackjack, but you will have two hands that you will play in turn: first the right and then the left. Once this has occurred, the dealer will then play his hand.
Other significant differences to this game include the fact that the dealer will hit on a soft 17. In addition, a Blackjack will pay 1:1, rather than 3:2. If you happen to make a Blackjack after switching, this will typically only count as a 21, not a Blackjack. Finally, a dealer hand of 22 will have the power to push all player hands, except a natural Blackjack.
In order to increase your bet during the game, you must click on the chips. Each click will increase the bet, while a right-click on the table chips will remove them from the bet.
Blackjack Switch Features Explained:
The game is equipped with two betting areas. This consists of the ‘Normal’ betting area, which is made up of the two large circles and the ‘Super Match’ betting area, which constitutes the small area between the two larger ones.
The ‘Super Match’ is part of what separates this game from the original as well. It is an optional side bet.
After the cards have been dealt, you will have the option of choosing to ‘Hit,’ ‘Stand,’ ‘Double,’ ‘Take Insurance’ or ‘Switch.’
