With up to 5000 times the total bet to be had the game isn’t exactly light on the wins either. Even if you are not a sucker for the theme the game has its high points worth checking out.
Theme
The background is a race track, the sounds effects are the usual ones, and the music and background noises are what you would hear in a real betting location. The graphics are not top of the line, but neither are they bad. Simply symbols that fit the theme, and a few others that seem to come as standard in almost all slots.
Betting Options and Functions
This slot comes with ten pay-lines, that run through the standard five-reel setup. You can bet from one to five tokens on each line, with the value of the tokens running from 0.01 to 0.50 coins per spin. In total, this means that the betting range is between 0.10 and 25 coins per spin. Quite low and fitting for all players.
Though the maximum win is pretty high, most of the symbols offer lower wins. The playing card ranks start from 5 to 300 times your bet, and the horses and jockeys offer between 5 and 5000 times your line bet. Three symbol combinations, as usual, are quite worthless.
Features
The game offers you the chance to re-spin any reel, for a cost. Do notice that changing the bet disables this feature until you spin again. The cost of re-spinning depends on the chances and is quite high. The feature is still worth it if you are one or two symbols short of a big win.
The book of bets works as a scatter and activates the bonus games. Three, four, and five scatters activate 10, 12 or 25 bonus games respectively. At the start of the bonus games, a special symbol is chosen, and whenever this symbol can complete a winning combination it will expand to cover the whole reel. This also comes with the opportunity to win up to 5000 times your total bet. In addition, five scatters pays quite magnificently, so you will never walk out of the bonus games without any wins at all. The feature can be retriggered, with the extra spins added to the running tally.
The book symbol also works as a wild, substituting any and all symbols.
Our Take
Bookie of Odds is an entertaining game. The style, graphics and such are good enough for any slot, though they might grow old in a year or two. Regardless, the beauty of this game comes from the special features and prizes that can challenge any other slot out there, save for progressive jackpots. I am not the kind of player that likes to spin for an hour to get a bonus so when i get teased i respin and hope to hit fast enough. The thing though is when you start respinning a lot it becomes extremely expensive and volatile as you can win/lose 500$ in a session on 20 cents bet hehe so if you plan on respinning make sure that you bet low first and see how it goes because respinning on bigger bets require a ton of money.

Very sad copy of Book of dead. There are much less wins in this game. In the beginning i lked it but recently i started to boycot it. This game gives you low winnings ingame. The line wins are smaller, but you still have good chance to win like over 500x bet. I think that I would prefer this game to Book of Dead.

I find that it has been tight though, hopefully I will hit some good wins playing higher bets.
