We’ve all experienced it, that moment when your computer freezes up or crashes unexpectedly sending you into a computer induced rage. This Cryptologic video slot is based upon this reality of modern living and stars a character who looks remarkably like Ricky Gervais from the UK version of the Office.
Computer Rage Theme
The slot has been cleverly disguised as a computer monitor from the mid 90s complete with buttons which are styled on a computer keyboard. You can even see an authentic looking office in the background; although no other workmates or Computer Rage victims can be seen on this portion of the slot so it all looks rather chilled.
The reels tell a different story and include two characters; one of which is unmistakably outraged and one which looks like David Brent performing a double thumbs up pose. There’s also a trashed computer, stacks of papers, staplers, I.D passes and traditional icons which have a shattered screen appearance.
Betting Options and More Functions
The black button on the left allows players to choose multiple automatic spins with a number of preset options. You can choose to either stop the spins for wins, features and bonuses or plow straight through them - personally I wouldn’t want to miss out on the bonus round so this is a handy function to have.
Computer Rage Slot Features
The Boss, aka David Brent, is wild and is able to create wins by substitution. The only icons which are excluded are the scattered computers and stressed girl icons.
Three or more smashed computer icons is your ticket to the first bonus round. You are faced with a bank of computers and get to choose three to smash with a sledgehammer. Each smashed computer will yield an instant win which is added to your casino balance at the end of the game.
The computer rage bonus round is even more extreme and challenges you to launch computers through office windows. To trigger this round you will need the Boss to appear on the first reel and the stressed girl to appear on the final two reels simultaneously. You choose five of ten windows to push a computer through; although this is overly destructive it is rather fun and will award up to 25 coins per push.
Our Take on Computer Rage
We’ve not seen another video slot based on rage, let alone computer rage, so this is totally unique. The graphics are akin to an old school comic whilst the features are both entertaining and pay well. Relieve your computer rage by lobbing some virtual fodder at any of the online casinos below.
