Deadwood might be a dreadful little city, but it still draws in all kinds of characters looking for life-changing wins. As you can imagine, in a setting like this the stakes are high. It’s a western city with shootouts and all, meaning that the volatility is extremely high.
That means high wins as well, doesn’t it? It sure does, when you line up the 576 ways to win with the right symbols. Take a walk in Deadwood and see what the notorious city has to offer.
Theme and Symbols
In Deadwood the reels are surrounded by muddy streets, moulded so by countless cowboy boots. On a side street, you’ll find the Deadwood saloon, where you’ll get to take a spin on these reels.
On the reels, you’ll find all the cards you need for a good poker hand, a drink for your other hand, and a few select guns in case things take a turn in the wrong direction. Though the game sadly lacks in animations, the sound effects and music give that finishing touch that perfects the theme.
Betting Options and Functions
The 576 ways to win is created by a reel setup where the outer reels have three symbols and each of the three middle reels come with four. In familiar fashion, wins are created by matching symbols landing on adjacent reels.
Betting is easy, as there is no need to divide the bet amongst different paylines. On the other hand, the number of ways to win also means that your average wins is quite low, way below even return.
The highest possible win is just 3.75 times your bet...obviously, the way to win here is to score wins through as many payways as possible, instead of aiming for the highest possible single win.
Features
To help with scoring some wins the game also comes with a nice variety of different specials.
- Hunter Wild
You’ll find a full-length wild on reels two, three and four, which will always nudge to cover the entire reel. That’s not all, as each nudge also increases the win multiplier by one. These are cumulative across several wilds.
- Shoot Out
Landing the sheriff’s badge on reels one and five will result in a shootout. This time around all low-value symbols turn into wilds on the middle reels.
...Three scatters can award Gunslinger or Hunter spins...
- Gunslinger Spins
The Hunter Wild is in the game and will stick to the reels until the end of the feature. The multiplier won’t reset either. Each sheriff’s badge that lands will reward the player with an extra spin.
- Hunter Spins
Here too the sheriff's badge will land extra spins. The Hunter Wilds won’t stick to the reels, but at least one is guaranteed to land on every spin.
Both of the above can be upgraded to Shoot Out Bonus Spins if sheriff badges trigger the shoot out during the feature. This will result in spins, during which the shoot out feature is active on every roll of the reels.
Our Take
The small wins that you’ll find here might first disappoint. Soon you’ll realise that the way the special features are built means that once the bonus spins hit, it’s one orchestra of gunfire and endless wins hitting the reels. High risks and high rewards in the west on this NoLimitCity slot!

This is one of those slots that every self-respecting casino maniac must have played at some point. I really like this slot for its dynamics and potential. I know hitting the super bonus is very difficult here, but if you do, be careful not to fall off your chair:)

I like this slot, but the normal bonus never pays. The super bonus is mostly paying I like the super bonus feature, that the bad symbols ( Jacks, Kings, 10s etc. ) turn into wilds. The only thing you need is a premium at the beginning and at the end.

Solid free spins mode risky or safer option. This feature can give big win but to me it was always hard to hit the feature for real money so this game is definitely hard to me

I don't know how software provider has calculated this theoretical RTP but practical RTP of this game seems to be low. After tons of spins you get negligible reward. 576 paylines does't help in this case. After a long wait and incurring good amount of loss you get reward which is very small. But I should admit that concept...

I actually really like Deadwood slot, it's one of my favorite games from Nolimit city. I think you need to be very careful with the bonus buy feature as the game is extremely volatile. However, this is a game that has incredible winning potential. I had a win of almost 3000x bet so I definitely know it has exciting potential.

NoLimit City can be iconic for their concept of "nudging wilds with multipliers"! Deadwood is such a volatile slot that I'm 50/50 on it. I only spin a few rounds to see some results but straight to the point I just buy the feature hoping to hit the special shootout bonus spins! I personally prefer to play Barbarian Fury...
