Deuces Wild Video Poker is a game of five-card draw poker with a twist. The game is featured in virtually all the bigger casinos, and through the years it has gained much popularity among players because of its simple rules and the ease with which players can form winning combinations. The specialty of this game lies in the fact that all Deuces or cards with value 2 act as wild cards. These wild cards can be used to substitute for all other cards (no matter what value or suit) to calculate winning combinations. This simple rule makes it very simple for players to form very strong hands like Four and Five-of-a-Kind with relative ease.

The object of the game is to ensure that the player has the best possible poker hand from a set of five cards that are dealt to him/her. The game begins with the wager. Players choose what amount they would like to wager on the fact that they will get a winning hand. They can make a bet of up to 5 coins with values ranging from $0.05 to $5. The bet determines the payout if the player holds a good poker hand.

Once the wager is made, the player clicks on the “deal” button and the computer deals out a set of 5 cards from a standard deck of 52 cards. Once this hand is dealt and the player takes a look at it, he/she decides which cards he/she would like to keep and which to discard. Once the discards are made, the computer then substitutes these cards for fresh ones from the pack that is reshuffled first. This resulting hand is then checked for wins.
