How to Play Dia De Los Muertos
There's just a few things to setup before placing bets. These include choosing a coin denomination, coins per line and the number of lines to be played. These options create a total bet, which is placed using the spin or automatic spin (on the left) mode.
A gamble feature, similar to other Oryx Gaming slots, can be used after a winning combination is gained. Once inside this bonus you'll need to choose red or black, then a card is turned over and if you guessed correctly the prize will be doubled to a maximum of $500.
Dia De Los Muertos Features Explained
The Mariachi Band wild symbols can substitute for super symbols such as candy skulls, Beamish Pumpkins and Flowers. These wild wins will also be doubled but these icons really come into their own when 3 or more appear on the same spin.
Three or more Mariachi symbols trigger the candy skull bonus feature. You will choose one of the skulls in the hope of finding bonus prizes. On conclusion you’ll enter the free spins bonus where your choices could win you 7, 10 or 15 free spins. The great thing here is that x2, x3 or x5 multipliers will also be awarded.

I love De La Muerte theme, I am interested in everything about it and I think this game has great design. I do think the paytable isn't great, so far I haven't exceeded 50x bet wins on the free spins feature, so I mostly play it because of the great looks. But its definitely worth giving a try.

Candy skull bonus is really easy to hit and I like they way it was designed but it's pretty hard to win big. I managed to get 15x free spins with 5x multiplier once (so total value of them was 75x bet) - I managed to win like 25x bet only. I triggered the Mariachi bonus fairly quickly and managed to score 10 free spins with a x2 multiplier - apparently you can get up to 15 spins and a 5x multiplier - thats something I'd really like to see, given the paytable is not exactly generous, but at 5x it certainly would be. Sadly, the theme really did not appeal to me and I was not interested enough to continue playing after this feature, which paid 29x bet, by the way. Didn't really like the sound much either. Average at best!
