Dragon 8s

Dragon 8's is an Eastern themed video slot which uses Chartwell Gaming technology. Users are treated to multiple animated graphics, oriental sound effects and three bespoke features. There's a great range of bets too, whist prizes can reach the heady heights of $12,500 when using the maximum wager.

Dragon 8s Theme

The reels are housed between a bespoke reel case which is designed to look like a lavish Eastern palace. The buttons are styled to look like scrolls of parchment and the background creates a tranquil atmosphere - visually it's a nice place to play.

There are five different number 8 icons, each of which animates when a winning combination is paid. These 8s are joined by a variety of Chinese themed icons which include Koi, fans, lanterns, tigers, dragons, cranes and pandas.

Reel sound effects are similar to other slots with a mixture of bespoke sound effects which include drums, the flaming dragon sound and others matched to feature triggering icons.

Betting Options and Other Functions

Prizes and feature explanations are included within the paytable which offers a few dynamic options. One of the most useful allows players to toggle through one to five coins below the paytable to view how prizes are affected.

Players are able to choose between standard and automatic spins. The latter can be configured easily using the panel in the bottom right corner.

Dragon 8's Slot Features

The tiger wild icon can appear on any line in any position. Wherever possible this icon will substitute for single icons to create winning combinations. This not only means more winning chances but larger ones too because wild wins are doubled.

Two, three, four or five scattered fan icons will award 1, 2, 15 or 200 credits respectively. The best thing here is these icons can appear in any order on the reels.

The bonus round is awarded when three or more Chinese lantern icons appear. You must first choose one of six lanterns to reveal a number of free spins (minimum 4 and maximum 7). Next you choose a coin to reveal the multiplier which is applied to any free spin prize ( 3 to 6x).
