The special features add a bit of depth into the game, though for the most part, this is still just about spinning for winning.
Betting Options and Functions
Simply select the line bet and it is multiplied to bring about the total bet across the ten paylines. The game itself has a pretty low overall bet level, with the maximum bet only ten coins per spin. Minimum is the usual 0.10 per spin. Volatility seems to be high, though the game manages to spin out some small wins on every few spins.
Jackpots and special features aside, there’s still plenty of wins to be had with the basic symbol combos. The playing card ranks rank the lowest, dishing out between four and fifty times the line bet. The wins go up in a steady pace from here, topping up at one thousand times the line bet for five golden bowls. Most of the the time you are going to score significantly less though.
Features
The Dragon King acts as a wild and doing so doubles all winning combinations it takes part in. It’s a rare sight though, showing up only on the third reel. Luckily, all the other dragons are wilds as well and show up more often. Each of the dragons come with their own specials: Azure one gives you free spins, Black one multiplies all winning combinations by three, White one adds another wild on the reels, and the Red one awards a random cash win up to 400 times the bet.
In order to get your hands on the jackpots, you need to land the Dragon King as well as the mystical pearl. If you manage to do this, then you need to land even more dragons. The more you land the better the jackpot. All of them come with sizeable wins, so even one counts!

Okay, I need to get serious a second and talk about a problem very close to my heart: The misuse of dragons. This is a serious problem, and desperately needs attention. Look, I don't care if they're European or Asian dragons, dragons are, by all known laws of man and nature, by definition, pure, unadulterated awesome. So if you're going to feature a dragon in your game, much less a DRAGON KING, then whatever is going to happen when that dragon appears needs to be AWESOME. I don't make the rules, folks. This is recognized international law Betsoft messing with. With this game, often when the dragons appear, they are complete duds. Mostly they're wilds, and often when they appear, there is nothing on either side of them on which they can exercise their awesomeness. The only semi-reliably awesome dragon is the Red Dragon that appears on the fifth reel. He is guaranteed to give an actual payout, though often that payout is 0.5X to 1X your bet. That's just...not okay. That is not the awesome that dragons encompass. That said, the POTENTIAL for awesome is there, if the stars (and reels) align just right. If you can get the White Dragon on the fourth reel, and the Blue Dragon on the first reel, the white dragon will spawn another White Dragon on the fifth reel, both of which will be frozen on that line due to the Blue Dragon's mechanic. Then if the Dragon King on the third reel is there (either in the same spin as the triggering spin, or the re-spin caused by the Blue Dragon) the White Dragon will spawn ANOTHER White Dragon on the second reel. Depending on where the blue dragon is, that means you have four, maybe five dragons on a line, which can result in a hefty payout. However, the reality doesn't match the potential. Often the dragons don't do a darned thing. The free spins feature is even worse. Unlike Plentiful Treasure, this game does NOT remove the junk/card symbols from the reels when free spins are triggered. So there's absolutely nothing at all special about these spins. No multiplier, no higher probability of getting dragons, nothing. Which has to make you wonder why anyone would use the "Buy Feature" option. It costs 44% more than just spinning the reels 30 times would, and will net you as much as spinning the reels 30 times (though with a slightly cooler soundtrack.) So yeah. Game developers, take notes. Dragons = awesome. Violate this law at your peril.

RTP is pretty poor, i've always lost on this slot despite giving it quite a few go's, definitely better paying slots out there, a consistent loser in my experience :)

low max spin and whenever you do end up with one of the dragon that turns into wild always seems to appear in the worse spot. Easily go on long droughts with hitting nothing and again with max spin $10 it becomes tedious and you will lose interest real fast

I really like this game. The features are really cool the different dragons do different things. One is a random prize, one is a 3 X multiplier, one is a resspin, there is an expanding wild in the middle, and a multiplying dragon. There is also a feature which allows you to buy the bonus which is 30 free spins when purchased....

I have to agree that the asian dragon koi theme is over done as all get out. With that aside, this Betsoft release is not very impressive either. The best part about this game is the fact that you can buy the bonus game feature at any time if you can afford to fork out what the game is asking for them. Just ok. Nothing...
