French Roulette is a regular game of European or American Roulette with some special features which make it (in some opinions) much better than other variations. The biggest visible differences between regular roulette and French Roulette is that the French Roulette table is all red (this does not affect the betting because the wheel is still alternately red and black) and the board is in French.
The important terms to remember while playing French Roulette are Pair (even numbers), Impair (odd numbers), Manqué (Low numbers), Passé (High Numbers), Premiere 12 (first dozen), Moyenne 12 (middle dozen) and Derniere 12 (last dozen).
Apart from the regular Roulette bets, French Roulette allows for some special bets or Call Bets. The different call bets are Voisins du Zero or the numbers that surround zero on the wheel, Tiers du Cylindre which is a bet on the numbers on the opposite side from 0, Orphelins or orphans which are the numbers that are not included in the Tiers or Voisins, Finales en Plein which is a bet on all the numbers that end is a certain digit and Finales a Cheval which are bets that end in one of two digits. The call bets add a twist to your regular roulette game, and make the game more exciting and enjoyable.
