The prizes are dished out the same as in any old slot: get 3, 4 or 5 symbols in a row on the same payline and you’ll be rewarded. As an interesting feature low-paying filler symbols have been removed completely so the only thing you’ll see on the reels are the different gemstones. Maximum win is 50 000 times bet per line.
Features
There are two progressive jackpots at play here: minor and major. These can be won on random on any paid spin, nothing at all the player does affect this. Except for spinning another round naturally.
The major bonus feature is the free games, which can be triggered by three scatters. Fifteen free spins are awarded immediately and further re-spins, as well as instant cash prizes worth a thousand times your bet, can be won if further bonus gems show up on the reels during free spins.
Whenever a wild appears it will cover the whole reel and trigger a respin. This can happen multiple times in a row, with all subsequent wilds held in place during the respins. Wins of course stack up.
Our Take
Gemtopia suffers from lack of players, which makes the progressive jackpot kind of a moot point. The base game wins, on the other hand, are quite big and the same applies to bonus features. In both cases, some luck is needed to land big money, as is always the case. Graphics and music could use a bit of a touch up as well. This slot is perhaps worth trying, especially considering the very low bet level, but it’s not likely to ever reach the favor of the masses.

Like this game for the minimum amount required to wager being $0.13, but honestly I have no idea how points are scored! I do know that there is a free spins feature. However, out of Id say 300-400 spins I've had playing this game, I've seen the free spins feature in action maybe twice at the most.

I have played this game many times and only wagered .15 cents. After a few dollars bet I ended up hitting the bonus games. and hit the three bonus lines again FOUR times within the bonus. Ended up winning over $50. Only happened twice though. Still a decent game if you hit the bonuses. May just take some time to get there.

I like these games with the respin feature. This one doesn't seem to ever hit the bonus, though. and when it does, it's pretty anti-climatic. But I like the graphics & sounds alot! And the min bet is $.15 so that's always good when I'm running low on funds.
