Glacial Age

It seems Amuzi wanted to create a game based around the ice age but the name had already been taken. That’s how Glacial Age came about and as the name suggests is themed around cavemen, the ice age and animals from that time.

Glacial Age Theme

The game is themed around the ice age which is why an icy rim surrounds the reels. A dark sky with swirling clouds can be seen beyond the slot whilst each of the reel icons are also tainted with an icy border.

Caribou, sabertooth tigers, wooly mammoths, stone hammers, cavemen and cavewomen all appear on the reels. The other icons all take their design from Poker and include 9, 10, J, Q, K and A designs.

Betting Options and More Functions

There are three coins available; 0.01, 0.02 and 0.05. You can use up to five of these coins on each payline; of which there are 25 (Max). This means bets from 0.01 to $6.25 are possible.

Glacial Age Slot Features

The wild icon is able to switch out for any other icon bar the scattered caveman. If this icon appears on the middle reel and creates a win is boosts it by 5 times; all other wins created with the wild are doubled.

Three, four to five caveman icons will award 10, 15 or 20 free spins respectively. These free spins then play with the same number of lines and line bets as the triggering amount. A multiplier between 2x and 4x can also be awarded and the feature can be retriggered during free spins.

Our Take on Glacial Age

Glacial Age is an average video slot at best. This is only down to the increased competition for Ice Age themed video slots. If it had an extra bonus round we’d be telling a different story, but as it is we’d say it’s worth a play but won’t rock your world.
