Players on the lookout for the best online slots will want to pay close attention to Golden Book, a glamorous, South Asian title from Austria-based Amatic Industries.
With Taj Mahal and wild tigers as the backdrop, you may find your wish granted by the power of this magic book, which reveals Bonusspins and potentially big wins.
Theme
India doesn’t get a lot of love from online slot designers, which is a pity…
… besides a bright culture practically bursting with legends, fables, and spiritual traditions that would lend themselves well to gaming, the land boasts a population over 1.3 billion! One would think that designers would want to appeal to this massive slice of the market.
That’s exactly what Amatic has done here. The lovely visuals feature a gorgeous, love-struck pair, Bengali tigers, the stunning Taj Mahal, and (on a somewhat more modern note) a luxurious private yacht. It’s a sumptuous feast for the eyes.
A green wild symbol appears on all reels, substituting for other symbols to form winning combinations.
The most important gaming symbol, however…
is the golden book scatter symbol, which gives this slot its title. This pays in any position, regardless of where it appears on the reels, while also opening the way to the Bonusspins feature.
Betting Options and Functions
Instead of along traditional paylines, wins are awarded for any set of identical symbols across three or more adjacent reels from left to right. Thanks to the title’s unique 4/3/4/3/4 reel structure, this yields 576 ways to win.
Bet is set simply from 10–1000 coins. Autoplay is available as a simple on/off toggle, though players should use caution, as there are no loss limits available.
Player options, payline information, game rules, and more are available via an expanding menu at the upper right corner of the game screen. The overall theoretical return to player ratio is above-average at 96%.
Features
- The appearance of three or more bonus symbols on the reels triggers the Bonusspins feature
- 10 free spins are awarded
- The feature can be re-triggered without limit.
- A Gamble feature is available on every win.
- Players can wager all or half of the payout.
- Players can either try to predict the color or suit of the next card to appear.
- A correct card color guess doubles the win size.
- A correct suit guess quadruples the win size.
- Any incorrect guess drops the win down to zero.
- The feature can be played again and again.
- Gamble feature is not available when autoplay is activated.
Our Take
Amatic has been a fixture in the online slot landscape since its founding in 1994, but this designer has never quite achieved the notoriety of some older companies such as NetEnt and IGT. This is partially because the company focus on table games over slots.
Golden Book, however, demonstrates that this excellent designer has video slot bona fides to burn. Serious gamblers won’t want to miss out on this gorgeous game.

She can throw money around, if she didn't give, she didn't give, but when she did give, it was a lot. I liked this game. The slot is cool. I recommend it.

One of many book games, so to speak. This one is actually fun to play. 3 golden books will trigger a bonus round ( who would have guessed) and wins are never far away on this slot by Amatic. I like this theme a lot, but it does look like an upgrade of already existing games with the same theme: a book. 3 out of 5 score

There are many Book video slot machines on the market. A new title is constantly appearing. But mostly these new releases are only graphically polished slots. This is exactly how it looks with Golden Book by Amatic. Despite the few innovations, the game is convincing. Players should try each Book game once to see the differences.

Spieler sollten jedes Book spiel einmal ausprobieren...

Golden book is a slot with different reel size and lots of potential. The smaller reels block most of the wins so it can get annoying at times. The bonus can be good as it has wilds and if you connect all reels with lots of symbols the win can be multiplied by so much it can get huge! But i never really been able to witness...

576 paylines for only 10 cent, that's a done deal! Amatic games are praised a lot, casinos showed big winners in their home page but what they did not show was how big the bet was. I've tried a lot of Amatic games and I played Golden Book a few times with a disappointing results. To me this is not a great game to play...

I really like Amatic games and you can win a ton of money on these slots while not betting the house... This game in my opinion does not stick to the normal Amatic game type theme. I have drained mad amounts of BTC trying to hit the bonus or just get a win with nothing & the wins here are not that great in comparison to...

Great slot from Amatic. You can play it with minimum bet of 0.10 eur and to win big. But it is very very hard to get a bonus game. Also in the main phase your spins probably will be empty or just few cents. But sometimes you will be really fascinated about this slot. My biggest win was 800 x bet in the bonus game.
