Gonzo’s Quest is the latest 3D 5 reel video slot which uses Net Entertainment’s new and exciting Avalanche reels. It features multiplier winning streaks, wild symbols and a ‘free falls’ bonus round which increases the winning multiplier by up to 15 times.
Gonzo’s Quest Slot Theme
Gonzo’s Quest begins with a cut scene depicting some Spanish explorers aboard a ship. Gonzalo Pizzaro, the slots star, decides to take a small detour to discover hidden treasures, artifacts and adventures on his own.
The slot has been designed with a jungle/Aztec theme with ornate carvings flanking the slot and a golden temple in the background. The symbols are ‘carved’ into falling slabs of rock and include various idols including the Fire Idol, Alligator Idol, Fish Idol, Bird Idol, Health Idol, Moon Idol and Snake Idol.
Instead of spinning reels these blocks of rock drop into place and explode when a winning combination is formed to be replaced by others, this in turn creates more winning opportunities. Each subsequent ‘Avalanche’ multiplies the overall win by up to 5 times. This frantic and satisfying action is complimented with authentic sound effects and music, even the ‘thumping’ of the bricks dropping into place sounds great.
The slots high quality looks and gameplay is also accompanied by a variety of betting options. This ranges from 0.20 to $/£/€100 depending on how you set the slot up. The total bet is displayed beneath the main buttons, beneath this is another set of icons for controlling sound and auto spins. The total bet is also displayed on the lefthand side.
Gonzo’s Quest Slot Features
As mentioned earlier the main feature of this slot is the innovative avalanche reels which helps create many more winning combinations. The likelihood of winning is further increased by the wild and bonus symbols.
The wild symbol is represented by the question mark; it can replace all other symbols to create a winning combination and disappears to create avalanches like the other symbols.
The free falls feature is triggered by three or more bonus icons appearing anywhere on the reels. During the feature the free falls (free spins) accrue a total awarding at least a 3x multiplier to each win. If more avalanche wins occur then this increases to 6x, 9x and 15x with each subsequent avalanche win. Gonzo opens the feature with a cool cut scene and ends it by catching all your winnings in his helmet.
Gonzo’s Quest made a bold move by replacing spins with ‘falls’ and we think it is a hot new concept which other Net Ent slots should use in the future.

So many years since this game was a king of Netent. To me it still remains a mystery as I really barely seen fs in it ;) It doesnt change the fact that I like it you just need to be patient and hit it, increasing multiplier during fs is worth waiting for. Saw many people winning really good $$$ in this slot.

I've played this game but i don't like it that much. I tried to catch bonus few times and it didn't go well for me besides one time i claimed no-deposit bonus in a casino. It's an OK slot. Have seen better and worse. I would come back to it occassionaly
