House of Fun Slot Theme
House of Fun starts with a cut scene of a couple breaking down on a deserted highway. Sinister music blares out and the teens ask for help, they are ushered into ‘the house of fun’ by a man who looks like the main character from Machete. Inside a whole host of creepy characters emerge including someone which looks suspiciously like an ultra deluded Willy Wonker.
Once the slot has loaded these characters take center stage on the reels with equally stunning animations when a winning combination appears. These symbols include the caretaker, cheshire cat, gargoyles, portraits (very creepy animation), candlesticks, a scary dwarf, the host, mirrors and more.
We were also impressed with the overall design of House of Fun. The border is themed and is complete with the animated characters which provide encouragement and look genuinely scared when features and wins occur. The music and sound effects are very fitting and really compliment the on screen action. This slot is both visually and audibly impressive.
The top end designed is further complimented by an excellent betting range. This varies from 0.02 to $/£/€125 per spin with a number of options in between. It’s great to see BetSoft have opened up their slots to gamblers of all budgets.
House of Fun Slot Features
The escape bonus round is triggered by three or more ‘door knocker’ scatters. A trembling ‘Paul and Jane’ are desperate to escape and you must choose the correct door to lead them there. Interestingly the exit can be behind a door which you have already checked. Get it wrong and the demented jack in the box springs out, thankfully he does award a coin bonus for your trouble. Once you have found the ‘exit’ you are returned with your prize to the reels.
The creepy jack in the box also springs up during the free spins feature. 3 or more jack in the box scatter symbols starts the free spins which can be retriggered. The centre reel is filled with the evil jack in the box wild, which is a little disturbing but does bring in some good winning combinations.
The ‘Mad Click Me’ feature activates when the Mad Host icon appears simultaneously on the first, second or third payline. This makes it very rare, but rewarding, as the payouts are instant and often large in size.

I found House of Fun by Betsoft quite interesting. The RTP was decent. The graphics were a bit creepy for me. I have not hit big or anything on this slot, but I have managed to make a small profit. I would add it to my list of "playables."

This is great fun from the very beginning. Their car breaks down and they go for help. The dog is even scared.
