Jacks or Better Four Line Video Poker is one of the simplest variants of 4-line video poker that is available for play at online casinos. Like all other video poker games, this game is also very simple to understand, but despite the simple rule, this game can also prove to be fairly challenging for even the most experienced player. It is for this reason that experts and novices alike enjoy playing this game.
The game gets its name from the fact that it is played with four individual packs of standard 52 card decks that are arrayed along four lines. Jacks or Better means that the minimum possible winning hand for this game is a pair of Jacks or a hand better than that (Pair of Kings, Queens or Aces). The Royal Flush is the best possible hand.
To begin playing, the player chooses a wager of anywhere between one and five coins for every round that is played. Most machines have a fixed coin value of anywhere between a low $0.05 to $5, and this is what decides the eventual payout amount, although all payouts are made as coins.
After the wager is made, the player is dealt five cards by the machine. These five cards are the initial hand, and based on this hand, the player chooses what cards to choose and what to let go. Once this step is done, the computer takes the held cards and makes four identical rows of these cards. The four separate packs are then used to substitute the discards. Finally these four rows are checked to see if the player wins anything.

Not a bad game really but also I think not as good as the higher number of paylines Playtech's video pokers. The double or nothing round is a bit stingy if I could say so but also it's pretty certain that this game is better than the usual single line VPR's offering a lot more opportunities of a win every single hand. The double or nothing round is a bit stingy if I could say so but also it's pretty certain that this game is better than the usual single line VPR's offering a lot more opportunities of a win every single hand. Generally I like it but there's a few other games of this kind which I would prefer to put my money on instead of this one.

This is the best standard jacks or better game available at playtech and has a lot going for it. The paytable is full 9/6 just as at Microgaming and they don't rip you off with just 20 coins for a 4 of a kind either (looking at you NetEnt). One advantage this game has over Microgaming is the inclusion of a half double feature,...
This is the best standard jacks or better game available at playtech and has a lot going for it. The paytable is full 9/6 just as at Microgaming and they don't rip you off with just 20 coins for a 4 of a kind either (looking at you NetEnt). One advantage this game has over Microgaming is the inclusion of a half double feature, which can be very much appreciated if you hit a big win, fancy a double, but would rather not lose the lot if it goes wrong. I've had some truly sick runs on the double up feature, hitting the double up limit on a few occasions, plus a couple of royal flushes in the main game, so I'm confident the game is dealing fairly. Recommended, should you wish to play standard standard standard video poker online.
