Theme

Whenever the term “Joker” appears, some mischief is bound to follow. Just so with Joker Explosion. It would appear that it was inspired by the famous villain, from his oldest comic books days to boot.

We find the visuals to be satisfying if not stunning, and certainly appropriately aligned with the theme. The titular character’s spooky laughter is the genuine moodsetter. As we’ve come to expect of Wazdan, the soundtrack is somewhat retro, but, again – more than fitting.

Betting Options and Other Functions

Joker Explosion is a 4-reel, 5-payline medium variance slot. The betting range is from €0.1 to €90. Only one coin per line can be wagered. The slot has an unknown RTP rate and is playable on desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. The jackpot is progressive.

Features

Joker Explosion features the two usual special symbols: the wild (the Joker) and the scatter (dynamite). The wild substitutes for any symbol except for the scatter. A small special feature is granted by the jester. Viz., if any wild symbol appears without a win, it will stay on the reel for the subsequent spin.

Landing 3 or 4 dynamite symbols will trigger the bonus feature. 10 and 20 free spins will be awarded, respectively. The bonus game is retriggerable. In addition, for the duration of the feature, the Joker will settle on reel one, where it will remain until the very (happy or bitter) end.
