The alien invasion is underway! And it's kind of...cute? Strange objects are seen in the skies over Australia and even more curious critters roaming the desolate plains and canyons in countries western outbacks. KangAliens is a 5 reels, 25 paylines thrilling mash-up of two lifeforms: those of kangaroos whose existence is quite proven and alien interlopers from outer space who may still be a figment of imagination. Theme

Sometimes it's okay to go bananas, and Booongo made most of it this time. Apparently, the peaceful and tranquil life of a kangaroo family and various other animals found here is interrupted by the sudden visitation from the race of blob-headed extraterrestrials (think the two slimy, evil-looking but essentially well-mannered and elaborate aliens from the Simpsons). Apparently, the conflict between the races is due, as the background of the screen indicates: the left half, green and pleasant land (guarded by a militant turtle) sits across the bare and derelict lands guarded by jackals and landing UFOs. However, the setting and mood change during the free spin mode: the battleground becomes a festively lit beach at dusk with everyone throwing a drinks party to upbeat tunes.

Subject's weirdness could only be justified by the enforcement of not overly serious graphics. Cartoony and zany by nature, this does not mean that the game lacks professionalism in rendering. The colors are gorgeous and characters are all animated and have unique traits. A toddler kangaroo with a lolly and a milk bottle, an elderly kangaroo reading newspaper report on the events, female kangaroo wielding a roll-pin and others adorn the standard set of numbers and letters symbols, while an angry alien and a male kangaroo serve as wild and scatter.

Now, because the war between generally tame animals and silly looking aliens is apparently such a dark and challenging matter, the expected soundtrack should be something sinister, right? Nope! Acoustic guitar strumming, pulsating bass line and a chorus of whistling – the sort you only hear from overworked clerks waking up miserable only to realize it's Saturday and they can stay put – makes for a surprisingly amicable and tension-less atmosphere.

Betting Options and Functions

User interface and controls are all located at the bottom portion of the screen, sitting pretty and distinctively in lime green and dark grey shades. You can set up a Total Bet (anything from 0.25 and 125.00). You can set the speed of reels spinning super easy by switching a designated button for this while the information button provides the rundown of symbols' values as well as a paylines diagram.
