Loco The Monkey

Welcome to the jungle! The sweet home of Loco, a funny little monkey who will be your friend if you manage to win him over.

Quickspin has come up with the Loco The Monkey online slot where main attractions are the Monkey Wilds. Let’s check it out together.

P.S. He loves bananas.

Theme and Symbols

Loco The Monkey is an online video slot designed and developed by Quickspin software provider. It is a Tropical-themed online game.

The game is made in a cartoon style and it will remind you of a classic fruit slot but with animated graphics and jungle beat. The background is jungle-like, as green trees and tall grass is pretty much everywhere on the screen.

As you might have guessed, the Monkey ( Loco ) is the Wild Symbol, appearing on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 as a replacement for any other icon with the exception of the Golden Monkey Statue Scatter.

We’ll speak more about the Wild and Scatter Symbols later on in this review but, first things first, let’s cover the whole pay table. The medium icons are depicted by Bananas, Pineapples, Limes, Mangos and Blueberries.

The Banana is the most lucrative fruit symbol, worth up to 10x the stake for its combination of 5 while 2 of a kind combinations are also possible. On the opposite side are the A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9 royals.

Betting Options and Features

When it comes to the grid setup in Loco The Monkey online video slot we have 5 reels, each bearing 4 symbols and 50 pay lines. The winning combinations require 2 ( Banana ) or more matching symbols in succession from the leftmost reel to right.

And if we are to talk about the title’s betting range then, you should know that you can start spinning with as little as $0,25 and as much as $100,00 per spin. This is a highly volatile online game featuring best odds of 96,15%.

According to the developer, the highest payout you can score is 6,829x the stake. It’s not the best cash out potential we’ve seen in Quickspin slots but it’s still quite impressive.

Now let’s talk more about the Monkey Wild Symbol. Whenever you manage to land 4 or more simultaneously you’ll trigger the More Monkeys! Respin Feature. The Wilds that participated in activating the feature are locked in place as reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 Respin.

For each new Wild that lands you’ll benefit from a respin. The feature comes to an end once there are no more new Wilds.

Monkey Frenzy! Free Spins Feature - The Golden Monkey Statue Scatter lands only on reels 1, 2 and 3 and once you’ve managed to land 3 at the same time the feature kicks in. You’ll be rewarded with 10 spins free of charge.

But that’s not nearly all!

All Monkey Wilds that land will become sticky and remain locked for the duration of the feature. Moreover, it is possible for another Wild to land over an old one and increase its multiplier by 1 and up to a maximum of 3.

You can also win additional 5 Free Spins by landing 3 more Scatters during the feature.

Wrapping Up

Loco The Monkey is one of those online slots that provides a lot of fun and excitement at the same time. The way it does that is through the features and more than enjoyable gameplay. The stats are also looking good, RTP is 96,15% while the maximum potential you can walk away with reaches 6,829x the bet.

Quickspin designed this online one-armed bandit with the latest HTML5 technology and since we mentioned that then, you should also know that the developer discontinues flash-based titles as of now.
