The theme is not all that uncommon in slots, with all kinds of witches chanting their spells and brews brewing into potions and whatnot. Theme

There is nothing particular here that I would recognise, and therefore the slot is probably simply going with generic ideas. The screen itself is filled with either symbols that fit the theme, such as different witches, or simply with the usual playing card ranked symbols. Music and sound effects are a bit lame, though they are at least a step up from the classics. The background is just a collection of colours, not lending much credibility to the theme. If you are looking for magical themes something like Witches Charm might be a bit more fitting.

Betting Options and Functions

There are ten paylines, all fixed, running through the five times three reels setup. As usual, the prize combinations start from the left and follow the paylines to the right-hand side, with two to five symbols needed for a payout. You can bet between one and 200 coins per line, with the latter requiring quite a big bankroll.

The prizes for two matching symbols are not sky-high, but at least these tend to land quite often, giving some added wins now and then. The playing cards offer the lowest prizes, topping at 125 times your line bet. The themed symbol pay out considerably more, with the best five symbol combination paying ou 9500 times the line bet. The second best symbol combination pays out significantly less, only 750 times the line bet. Expect high volatility.

Features

First up we have the gamble feature. This is the usual ability to double any win up to five times, or until you reach the magical limit of 100 000 credits. The gamble itself is a simple task of choosing either red or black card with a 50 - 50 chance of it all going your way.

The main feature is, of course, free spins. Three or more scatters anywhere on the reels will trigger 15 free spins. These can be further re-triggered during the feature, for a maximum of 300 free spins. That result would require quite some luck though. Every win, with the exception of the main win, is tripled during these spins.

Our Take

Love Magic slot never really hits it off. The game doesn’t have any fatal shortcomings, but neither does it manage to offer anything that isn’t already out there. The real reason why you should first try this game in demo mode is a simple fact that it isn’t all that interesting.
