Lucky Angler: A Snowy Catch Theme
A snowy catch is an apt description for this slot (you’d be surprised how many slots are all title and no substance) because the reels are surrounded by snow and alive with shoaling fish. The overall look reminds us of the Ice Age movies, although the characters on this slot are all aqua themed.
There are several different fish to look out for but our favorite has to be the mean looking red snapper, he just looks bad to the bone. Other fish include eels, lobsters and there’s even a critter poking his eyes from the broken sole of a shoe.
The clever visuals are matched by a range of sound effects; our particular favorite are the echo of bubbles you can hear in the background.
Betting Options and More Functions
You’ll notice that the spin button has revolving arrows on it. This means you can start or stop the reels whenever you want; known as skill stop. If you’ve got quick reactions this is particularly useful, if not then just let the reels stop on their own.
You can also use auto play which initially presents 10, 25, 50 or 75 spins. You can also select advance options to tell the machine what and when to stop for.
Lucky Angler Slot features
The fishing lure, aka hook, is wild and is able to replace any other icon except the scatter when it appears on screen. These wilds are sticky too and during free spins you'll get a head start with one on the middle reel. This means they literally stick around when the feature is in progress, or during multiple spins if part of a winning line during regular games.
The fish scatter will award 5, 10 or 15 free spins when three, four or five icons appear respectively. As mentioned above these free spins will benefit from an additional starting sticky wild, plus all sticky wilds remain on screen until the feature comes to an end. I gave here just 4.0 because lucky angler wasn't yet so luck to me, I know it has a wild feature which can last long and give you a big win on even low bet + free spins but I never experienced it that much yet but I hope it changes soon , anyways really good 15 line slot !
