Theme

The green lushness of Ireland shows up in the background, with the reels themselves filled with leprechauns, gold pots, and playing card ranks that are well themed for the subject. In the background, you can hear some Irish music from centuries past. The style is quite well done and is especially fitting for mobile devices, however, it doesn’t really add anything that hasn’t already been done in games like Rainbow Riches.

Betting Options and Functions

There are 25 fixed paylines that run through a rather peculiar three times four reel setup. Most all slots have either three or five reels, with four reels being a rarity in itself. Supposedly this stems from the four lucky clover leaves? In any case, this seems to do a number on the medium volatility which really does feel like high volatility.

The possible bets range between 0.20 and 100 coins per spin, equally divided among the paylines. Maximum win, according to the game itself, is 110 000 Euro on a single spin. I would assume that this requires the maximum bet to be in effect.

Features

The first feature you will run into is the gamble function. This is nothing new if you’ve ever played a slot before: simply choose between red or black suit cards and if you guess right you land yourself a double win. You can repeat this a few times, though it’s advisable to cash out every time the wins grow big enough.

Other than this the game is a bit devoid of features. You do have the double up, which means that whenever a single reel is full of matching symbols any payout on those is doubled. In addition, there is a mystery symbol that works as a scatter and pays randomly anywhere between 4 and 128 times your line bet.

Our Take

Lucky Pot is not such a lucky pot, to be honest. Though the game advertises a massive maximum prize it’s hard to imagine how lucky you need to be to land it. More likely you’ll have to do with the basic wins, which are from the book of medium volatility. The graphics are nice, the audio effects sufferable, and the game runs well. If the theme is of interest then perhaps try the demo version and go from there.
