Lucky Swing is a fresh new video slot from the boffins over at Oryx Gaming. Gameplay is based upon the game of golf, but the characters found on the reels are certainly colourful ones (one looks like your stereotypical Scottish golfer). The golfing action occurs over 5 reels and 10 pay lines with a few clever bonus features thrown in for good measure; it'll have you racing for the links in no time.
How to Play Lucky Swing
The control panel is arranged in such a way that three individual options must be configured:
- Coin: is located in the bottom left corner. Use this option to change the coin denomination between 0.01 and 0.50 per spin.
- Coins per line: these two buttons are used to toggle the number of coins per line. You can choose to play 1 to 10 per line.
- Lines: 1 to 10 lines may be played per spin.
Other buttons include:
- Spin button: places one wager and spins the reel once
- Auto Play is used to select multiple bets/spins. These are played consecutively
- Info: the pay table.
Lucky Swing Features Explained
Each spin with at least 3 lucky club logos will trigger a golfing inspired feature called Lucky Shot. The dream here is to score a hole in one, but not before selecting your lucky club from a possible 5. The golfer then steps up and takes a swing, which will hopefully end in you winning a prize.
10 free spins will be yours when lucky club logos appear across three consecutive reels (must be from left to right). These free spins play automatically and can be retriggered multiple times in the exact same way they started.
Silver cup logos are special too. These shiny cups are wild for any golfer logo and payout when two or more combine on the same pay line.

Nice design, terrible game. Wilds are only substitute for high symbols, those with people pictures, and taking in mind this slot has only 5 lines you can imagine how bad it is the hitting average, but the worst issue I noted on it, it's you always win the same prize value on bonus feature independently your bet level, for example, if you bet $0.01 per line you win $6.25 and you will win the same value when your bet level is $0.10 per line, not only unfair but illogical.

The paytable is pretty decent, although the sidegame is pretty lame and the freespins could really have done with a multiplier or something to boost interest. Average at best.
