We love food and we love slots, so you can imagine the excitement when we discovered Menu Mania. It's a five reel slot from ViG which comes complete with two bonus rounds, scatters, free spins and multiplying wilds. Oh and there's plenty of on reel treats too!

Sharp knives, ladles, strainers and a smiling chef can all be seen surrounding the reels. There’s also six progressive jackpots displayed above the reels, but we’ll talk more about those in the features section later. We like how each button has been placed on a drying dinner plate too; although we’ve never seen plates hung out on a line to dry before.

There are a variety of reel icons, a good variety in fact. We’re not hugely impressed by the quality but at least there’s a good range of them. They include coffee, cake, fruit, chicken, diet plate, win, wild and chef icons.

Betting Options and More Functions

There are multiple jackpots above the reels named mini jackpots and big jackpot. You'll gain one piece of food toward the mini jackpot whenever the wild appears on the middle reel. If the wild shows a green plate you will receive one icon towards the big jackpot and both are awarded once their respective counters have been filled up. This is uniquely tasty way to award potentially huge prizes, we love it.

Menu Mania Slot Features

The wild icon is super handy because is can substitute for all icons except the coffee and diet icons. It'll also double any win it helps create in the process and occurs during both free games and regular spins.

The free spin bonus round is triggered when three purple bonus pots appear on screen. You are asked to choose pots to reveal free spins, multipliers and bonus wins. Once the free spins start any wins will be multiplied and you'll receive the bonus win as well, regardless if you spin in a winning combination or not.

There's a second bonus game which is triggered when three or more bonus lids appear on adjacent reels. You choose from the lids to reveal bonus dishes which in turn award cash bonuses.

Our Take on Menu Mania

There are positives and negatives to this slot. On the one hand there are plenty of features and a whopping jackpot but the graphics are a tad plain. If you can see past this then it’s certainly worth playing.
