Huge pathways and underwater riches in their whole beauty make this Play’n Go game an experience worth trying. The game opens up with a nice view on the underwater kingdom, and this coupled with the reel setup is probably enough to get your interest going. However, there are more than a few games centred around mermaids, which is no surprise. So how does this slot beat classics such as Mermaids Millions? Read below to find out.
Theme
The theme is set completely underwater, with mostly fishes and rocks on sight. The graphics and animations flow seamlessly. The sound effects are not so fulfilling, though what kind of music would you really expect to hear underwater? The call of whales? Well, the game plays out something akin to that. The symbols are mostly a combination of underwater riches and molluscs of a different kind.
Betting Options and Functions
The minimum bet you can place here is 0.20 coins per spin. The setup is not your usual from Play’n Go, since the game comes with an uneven reel setup. The game has five reels, first one having three, second one four, third five, and the fourth again four, with the fifth having three rows of symbols. The diamond structure of reels does fit the theme.
The maximum bet goes all the way to a hundred coins per spin. There are no paylines in the game, instead, all symbols simply connect from left and right into adjacent reels. Three to five symbols need to connect in order to land one of the prizes, which range between 0.10 and 10 times your bet.
Features
The main feature is advertised as soon as you step into the game. Win up to 25 initial free spins, with the chance to trigger unlimited free spins. Though, if you do trigger truly unlimited free spins, can you ever cash in as you they go on indefinitely?
In addition to your normal wild, there is a trident wild. This is triggered by the god of sea himself, randomly granting extra wilds on one or two reels. There is also another divine intervention in the form of an extra chance to land some free spins, which also triggers at random.
The free spins themselves start with a simple pick-n-choose, where you select one chest amongst five. This grants you a selected amount of spins, during which landing 3,4, or 5 scatters grants extra spins. The diamonds come into play as well, each one is collected as they show up and for every five you collect you get granted a full reel of wilds!
Our Take
Mermaids Diamond does the all the basic stuff well and manages to entice for one more spin to get your hands on those elusive free spins. In the end, the game offers quite high volatility. Do remember though, you can land wins up to 5000 times your total bet with the extra features. This one might just be worth the risk!

Oh, Mermaid's Diamond, what a rollercoaster of emotions! I embarked on an underwater adventure, hoping for a sea of treasures. Alas, the mermaids were elusive, and the diamonds seemed rarer than Atlantis itself. The enchanting melody teased me as the reels spun, creating suspense. The occasional wins brought moments of euphoria, but the deep-sea abyss swallowed my hopes. The captivating graphics, though, painted a mesmerizing oceanic tapestry. It left me torn between the beauty and the elusive fortune. Mermaid's Diamond, a tantalizing voyage that left me yearning for more or perhaps a life jacket for my sinking expectations.

Do you remember IGT's Siberian Storm? It's hard to achive it but sometimes the game helps you with it by adding the last scatter randomly. So far I did not managed to win over 100 times bet which kinda disappointing for a Play'N Go game.

This game has reels that are a little bit different. Reel 1&5 have three symbols and reels 2,3,&4 are the regular reels with four symbols I'm looking for the mystical force that randomly adds the wild symbols and the Supernatural power that can help to trigger free spins. I can't forget to collect the diamonds to create wilds, that wild be great. OK, got 10 free spins. Now I'm up to 20 free spins and the mystical force added wild symbols, so my balance is getting bigger. I thought this was going to be a great game. The graphics are very well designed, even beautiful, but there isn't much action going on now and I have been spinning for quite a while. Maybe another day will be the day. This game has so much potential, I not going to give up, but I am going to leave.

Mermaids Diamond is a great game. The game level overall like features, sounds, images are the best among Play N'Go game. The random wild is Ok with small winnings. The Divine Intervention really takes place to give free spins and the free spin re-trigger is good too. The wins can be quite big in the free spin feature....

Nice game

Mermaids Diamond is a interesting game. 720 ways isn't the usual thing to have on a slot machine but sometimes it works. Here it feels not bad but it's way to hard to trigger the feature, you need a scatter on each of the reels. And also the free spins can be very bad too. But the potential is still big and it looks good...
