Mustangs have reached something of a mythological status as wild horses, inspiring both legendary cars and endless movies and slots like this one. Theme
A cowboy, a cowgirl, and several horses drive the purpose of top symbols. The usual cast of Aces, Jacks, Kings, and Queens form the cavalcade of low-value symbols. The vast deserts and plains of American Midwest form the background, with a few odd animations thrown in for good measure. The theme and style are not superb, but neither are they bad. The theme works fine for what it is.
Betting Options and Functions
Pragmatic Play tends to use the same set up in most of their slots, and Mustang Gold isn’t really all that different from the others. There are a total of 25 paylines, with possible bets ranging between 0.25 and 125 coins per spin. The paylines connect from left to right through the five reels.
The RTP is above average, though the wins are a bit on the downside. Variance seems to be either medium or high, with quite a few smaller wins landing now and then and the big ones waiting for their turn for quite some time. With a one coin bet, the best payout from a five symbol combo is 500 coins and the minimum five coins.
Features
Bonus games start when three scatters hit the three middle reels. During these games, the reels change a bit, with a few more lucky symbols on the reels. Eight bonus games area warded initially, and these can be re-triggered if you are lucky enough to land more scatters.
There are four jackpots that range between 50 and 1000 times the total bet. In order to get your hands on the jackpots, you need to land the lucky horseshoes, as well as the sheriffs badge. These two together open up the bonus feature. This is a simple pick and match feature. The player needs to match three symbols to be awarded the corresponding jackpot. Lots of luck required to land the biggest jackpot.
The horseshoe works as a money symbol, taking values from the jackpots. It won't always launch the jackpot game, but even so, it does add up to some wins.
Our Take
Not an overly entertaining slot to be honest. This is one of those games that you might spin a few times, and if the game is not exceptionally generous you will probably forget all about it soon enough. The best bet is to play it with play money first to see if it can hold your attention for longer than that. If you are looking for progressive jackpots there are better choices out there.

The atmosphere is fine, but personally, I prefer Pragmatic Play titles in which the cash symbols on the matrix trigger a special bonus game, and not the 'collect' icon in the last column as in this slot game. Every game can't be the same - this one - Mustang Gold - isn't the worst, but they are better.

Average game. I dont appreciate the feature in this, too uneventful and too little won in it. Maybe if i keep playing a big one comes, coz it has promise nevertheless. Ill play this at socialtournaments and if i win in it there, then ill chase with money too. But only after png games have been exhausted :)

Pragmatic play games ... I dont have much succes on their slots but I decided to give this one a go ... I still regret this decision. I didnt hit a single bonus or freespin or whatsoever ... When I made a hit, it almost didnt pay anything. No big wins seen ... If I can advise you; stay away from this one
