Pink Panther is the basis for a series of films, cartoons and now a five reel video slot from Playtech. The Pink Panther slot boasts four individual bonus games and two ‘pink’ themed progressive jackpots, on top of the dedicated 5,000 coin jackpot.

Pink Panther Slot Theme

Pink Panther is a visually appealing slot. The designers have used a purple and blue color scheme combined with slight hints of pink for the buttons. The Pink Panther stands to the left, performing various moves to encourage players, celebrate wins or signal the start of each bonus game.

Various reel icons are themed around the daily antics of the Pink Panther. They include Inspector Clouseau, Little Man, bombs, pots of paint, magnifying glass, pink paw prints and 10, J, Q, K and A icons.

The slot uses a maximum of 40 paylines which can be adjusted right down to one. When combined with the various coin denominations a betting range of 0.01 to $/£/€2000 is created. This is by far the largest range we’ve ever seen which makes Pink Panther an all encompassing slot which doesn’t eliminate gamblers based on their wagering stance.

Any win can be gambled by pressing the respective button. You can choose to try to double half, double all or collect after each round. The dealer shows his card and then allows you to choose one of four cards to try to find a higher card.

An automatic spin button is set to 50 by default. This can be increased or reduced to suit and can be stopped at any time.

Pink Panther Slot Features

The Pink Panther not only stands on the sidelines but also appears on the reels with his own wild symbol. This substitutes for all other symbols excluding the Pink Panther Scatter.

The Pink Panther scattered logo will pay x5 with three icons, x25 for four icons and x125 for five icons anywhere on the reels.

Each of the four ‘pink’ themed bonus games is triggered randomly during normal gameplay. There’s no rhyme nor reason to this but we can safely say they come along fairly frequently.

The Pink Trail Bonus game asks you to help Inspector Clouseau find the Pink Panther Diamond. The inspector will take three steps with each successful one awarding a prize. You are then asked whether he should continue or stop (collect). Each progressive step awards a prize, a trap will halve your overall bonus win whilst finding the diamond will double it.

Pink Pow will randomly blow up 2 to 6 symbols which transforms them into wilds. Any wins gained before the feature are also paid.

Crack the Pink Code bonus game presents ten locked safes. Each safe will reveal either free spins, multipliers or an expanding wild to be used during the free spins. A stick of dynamite signals the end of the game. Free spins with any multipliers or expanding wilds begins once the feature has ended.

The color pink bonus is also triggered randomly. Both the Pink Panther and Little Man will paint a wall of numbers. The sum of Pink Panthers numbers is multiplied by the total bet which you can collect or ‘repaint’ to try to increase twice more.

The Wheel of Pink bonus game involves the Pink Panther spinning two wheels. The outermost wheel selects a cash prize whilst the internal wheel selects a respin or collect icon. This means wins can be increased over each round and never lost.

The Jackpot Adventure is yet another randomly allocated bonus game. This game will payout the Major Pink progressive, Minor Pink or consolation prize depending on your selection. You must choose from twelve closed doors which reveal either the Pink Panther, Inspector Clouseau or the Little Man. Three Pink Panther doors will award the Major Pink progressive, three Inspector doors will award the Minor Pink progressive and three Little Man doors will award the consolation prize.
