The mythical Kingdom (in this case, Queendom) of Atlantis is the basis for this slot, and the entire design scheme stays true to this underwater aesthetic. Cool blue and purple colors are everywhere, along with gold and gems invoking the wealth of this aquatic realm. Game symbols include several underwater creatures, including octopi, crowned dolphins, and jellyfish, as well as an emerald-colored helmet and a golden ring. Lower-value symbols are not playing cards, but rather the four suits of those cards, each shimmering in its own jewel-tone; the highest value symbol is the titular mermaid Queen herself. The scatter and super scatter symbols are both round pearls within an opening oyster shell (normally white, but gold in the latter case, which appears only on the fifth reel). The wild symbol looks like a whale’s (or a mermaid’s) tail plunging into a moonlit seascape, and substitutes for all other symbols except scatter. The soundtrack is excellent – overall, the entire user experience is unyielding.
