Theme

The reels are deep inside the volcano, we can see barren rocks on either side and a river of boiling lava streaming right in the middle. It is unclear where the Queen of Embers lives, but she does appear as a symbol on the reels to brighten things up. 

She is guarded by wild animals that have somehow learnt to live inside the volcano, there’s a tiger and a lion that she relies on for protection. The sound effects include fire, as you would expect from such a game, while the music that accompanies the gameplay is a bit on the epic side.

This slot was included by the developers in their “classics” series, because it has a standard layout with 5 reels and 3 rows and a pretty simple gameplay. There are 243 ways to win available, and winning combinations are formed whenever you have three matching symbols on consecutive reels starting with the leftmost one.

Features

The Tiger symbol is the Wild, it can only appear on reels two, three, four and five and replaces any of the other icons in the game. It can not build winning combinations by itself, though.

Conclusion

Queen of Embers is a pretty standard video slot from 1x2gaming, but the studio’s aim was not to make this a groundbreaking product. The game features standard mechanics and features, pretty much everything you would expect from a classic slot. 

The graphics are not very impressive either, even though the characters and location are quite interesting. Overall, this title is worth a try if you feel like playing a simple slot that is set in an unusual location and has a pretty significant maximum prize up for grabs.
