I have never really understood the lyric "does whatever a spider can". Sure, spiders do spin webs, but if Peter Parker really did what spiders do, he would spend 99% of his time resting in a corner, waiting for his next meal to come to him and having women swat at him with a broom. Marvel's character is a young photojournalist bitten by a radioactive spider, which somehow gives him the ability to shoot webs out of his wrists and other cool stuff like that, which naturally he uses to fight crime. Spiderman has successfully spawned multiple television series and three very expensive live-action motion pictures.

Cryptologic's version of The Amazing Spiderman tends to ignore the film paradigm and stick to the original story set up in the comic books, which is a plus if you ask me. The graphics are crisp and fresh, and highly stylised.
