The Mighty Atlas

Not everything was peachy in Greek mythology. It is filled with sad stories and destinies. One of the ill-fated ones was Atlas who was cursed to hold up the world on his shoulders forever. This peculiar and disturbing story obviously inspired IGT to develop a game based on precisely this god.

Slot Theme

This reel slot has a unique design. Most symbols represent the Titans and besides them, you can also run into the classic icons and the logo of the game. To be frank, we like how these signs were drawn. The only thing that we miss is maybe more colorful design and background. It lacks liveliness.

As far as the sound is concerned, it’s decent. We are far away from impressed, but it’s not that bad. We were expecting more epic sound effects that would perfectly accentuate the atmosphere and the story, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen.

Betting Options and Other Functions

Forty paylines, five reels and three rows are embellishing this solidly-built layout. The betting range is extremely flexible which is a great thing, so you can start with the minimum of $0.40 or bet the maximum of $400.

During the Free Spin feature you can earn the best prize of 1,000 coins by landing five Wild characters on the line. The interface is very neat and straightforward. It seems like whoever did this is generally very detail oriented.

Atlas is probably impatiently waiting for you to start the game, but there are some things that take precedence over everything such as adjusting the amount of lines and your bet. The almighty Wild symbol (the game’s logo) replaces all characters apart from the Scatter. It is here to help you complete your winning combination. Besides it, you will also spot the Golden coin which represents the Scatter symbol.

If it is seen on the second, third and fourth reel you will trigger the seven extra games. During this bonus round, you can once again earn seven additional spins, however, in that case, the golden coin must be found on all positions on the three center reels.

Our take on this slot

IGT blew our minds with its creation. We didn’t expect to have so much fun and at the same time, earn incredible prizes! In this case, you can forget about other aspects of the game and simply focus on winning! It’s worth it!
