Savvy players are always on the lookout for the best online slots – Vampires vs Wolves, the supernatural slot from Pragmatic Play, definitely falls into this category.
This excellent medium-variance title comes packed with mythological bonus features, offering players a choice between two kinds of enchanted Free Spins, one for each kind of warring monsters.
Theme
Vampires or Wolves?
This question may be a matter of taste for modern movie or book lovers, but in this slot, the battle is on! Supernatural creatures populate the reels on a moonlit night.
This game is built by Pragmatic Play, a brand with complicated history. Though officially established in 2015, strong connections exist between this designer and the scandal-prone TomGame, which was launched in 2008, including the same owner for both companies. With that said, Pragmatic has won some major awards in recent years, so there’s clearly some substance here worth exploring.
Gaming symbols include three werewolves in human form, and three striking vampires looking glam as can be. The four playing card suits act as lower-value symbols.
Golden wild symbols appear on all reels, substituting for other symbols to help form wins while also offering this game’s top base play payout.
This title’s most important gaming symbols, though…
… are the Haunted Castle and Howling Wolf Scatter Symbols. When appearing in full on the outer reels, these open the way to this game’s twin Free Spin bonus features.
Betting Options and Functions
There are 10 fixed paylines, all paying from left-to-right. Coins bet per line can be set from 1–10, with coin value adjustable from 0.01–0.50; this yields an overall betting range of 0.10–50.00 times the betting currency.
Player options, payline information, game rules, and more are available via a pop-up menu. Autoplay can be engaged for up to 100 spins in a row, with optional win/loss limits available. Quick spin is also available for those who prefer a faster gaming tempo.
The theoretical return to player (RTP) is excellent, ranging between 96.38–96.49%.
Features
- The full appearance of Dracula’s Castle and Howling Wolf scatter symbols on the outer reels triggers Vampire Free Spins.
- 8 freebies will be awarded.
- The three vampire gaming symbols become bloodthirsty during bonus play; every time one appears, it may transform into a sticky wild symbol that will remain in place for the rest of the feature.
- The feature cannot re-triggered.
- The full appearance of Howling Wolf scatter symbols on the outer reels triggers Wolf Free Spins.
- 14 freebies are awarded.
- The three werewolf gaming symbols transform into wolves during the feature, acting as additional wilds.
- All money symbols that appear will be locked in place for the duration of the feature. Whenever a new money symbol appears, the number of re-spins will be reset to 3.
- Multiplier symbols are added together to form the total multiplier.
- Should a re-trigger symbol appear during the feature, an entirely new round will take place after the first round is concluded.
- At the end of the feature, the value of all money bags is totaled and multiplied by the total multiplier. If all reel positions are taken up, the Grand Jackpot is paid.
Our Take
Pragmatic Play continues its recent trend of releasing high-quality, high-RTP titles jam-packed with bonuses.
Fans of vampires, wolves, and/or strong online slots will find this one irresistible.

Played Vampires vs Wolves a while back. It's a spooky, cool battle between the two. I was ready for some big, scary wins, but what I got was more like a quiet night. The game's atmosphere is pretty neat, though, if you're into the whole creepy, supernatural thing. It's a good game for some chills and thrills, even if the...

This slots theme has gotten more popular over the past few years. Movies tend to make a lot of themes more popular. It is pleasing to the eye. Although it does not hit very often, at all. I tend not to play this game very often because it does not hit very often.

Another bad pragmatic game where the bonus round does not appear only by making a stop on each spin is that it can appear but this is not a guarantee only the feature is given if in reels 1 and 5 the scatters of the game are achieved and how I comment these do not appear, you can also select what type of feature you choose...

I managed to get those freespins a few times ... But I dont even understand the mode that vampires transform into wolves or something ... The other option with sticky wilds is also very bad; never did I see the good wilds standing ... Nooo always wilds that arent reached ... Good try, but failed for me; this slot!

This is one of the games I don't dislike from Pragmatic Play. The game is very volatile but I think it has potential. I've had a few wins on this game over 100x bet so I know it can pay. The visuals are good in my opinion, but it's also one of the games where it's difficult to get a big hit on base game.

This slot can be hot and give you crazy wins and when it is cold , than you need to be afraid, because this slot can eat your money fast. One time i got 30 time scatter on 1st reel and still no bonus. When I got the free spins bonus , I always pick bonus with sticky wilds, because this is only bonus where you can win big.

Vampires Vs Wolves is a disappointing game. This game is a clumsy copy of some big hit games from NetEnt like Dead or Alive, or other softwares. The other free spin feature is not really good for big wins. Well, but, you get the feature quite often, so not boring to play. Good luck.

Dislike for this game because the potential is just not there. The maximum you can win is 1000x if you get the whole screen full of wilds in the vampire free spins, which is really really unlikely to happen. The wolves free spins are something you don't wanna ever pick. The basic game is really boring with no potential...

Vampires and wolves is the worst pragmatic play slot i ever tried even if it s a new release./ There are a lot of good vampire slots in other providers but for me this one isn t in my list of the slot i will try. The bonus feature appears when first reel and last reel reveal a wolf and a vampire and you have to choose or wolf feature or vampire feature . in the wolf feature you get multiplier and in the vampire feature you get extra fix wilds.
