Betting Options and Functions
The wins are counted from adjacent symbols, running from left to right. During the normal game mode, there are five reels with three symbols each. The special features can change this, increasing the potential wins into another dimension. Betting is done by selecting the number of coins and their value per spin. This gives a total range between 0.20 and 100 full coins per spin.
The basic wins are probably the weakest point of this slot. The playing card values pay between two and twenty times the bet, depending on how many you land on the reels. The themed symbols all pay the same, between six and 28 times your bet.
Features
The shield wall can be formed during any spin, activating randomly. When it does, each shield is replaced by a mystery symbol which all turn into the same symbol. This works wonders to create massive combinations wins.
The raid spin symbol shows up on reels 3, 4, and 5, and with three in place will activate the raid spins. During the raid spins the reels expand to seven instead of the usual five, and they all have five symbols instead of the normal three. This raises the possible number of pay combinations into 78 125. When a Viking symbol covers a whole reel all Viking symbols on screen transform into a matching one. In this mode, it is possible to win up to 200 000 times the bet if all symbols are matching onscreen.
Our Take
Viking is a pretty nice licensed slot. The main attraction is the raid spins which can result in truly massive prize combinations. The style is pretty much perfect and there is really nothing to improve here when it comes to graphics or sound effects. If you are a fan of the series you will love this game. Vikings is a slot that i love to hate. Very high varianced slot, it can eat your balance very easy and free spins are hard to get. But it can pay good too, except to me. Havent even managed a 100x win yet after thousand of spins. This slot hates me. Love the theme .

Funny, some games work well for one and not for the other. This slot has never paid for me (regardless of the end device or OC). I've never scattered here either, and even when the middle cylinder was full, only small amounts came out. I also think that the topic "Viking" is slowly being used up =)
