What you see on the screen is quite vintage looking game, old-school enough that you even wonder if it is capable of triggering that retro feeling.

Theme

The look itself reminds me of the 90s. Though the game was released in the midst of the modern age, the developers decided to go for this particular look – straightforward and effective, with the vibe of old Vegas, like the Sin City was known and loved it back in the day!

You will get used to these visuals rather quickly, and perhaps even appreciate it. The symbols display a collection of wealth or deluxe life. Cash, gold, and diamonds fill the reels. Music and sound effects are exactly what would be expected from an installment such as this.

Betting Options and Functions

Five reels with three rows of symbols take up most of the screen, with ten pay-lines to create a range of potential winning combinations. As is the case with most slots…

…here too your sole purpose is to land three to five symbol combos on those pay-lines. The first surprise the game lands on you is that the combinations can form from left, right or the middle!

Now:

Betting is done by simply selecting the total bet. This can run from 0.10 to 50 coins. The payouts are not extraordinary, and coupled with the high volatility are perhaps even a bit on the low side.

The basic payout is your bet back with three symbols.

Four symbol wins range between 2 and 20 times the bet, with the much coveted five symbol combos reaching all the way to 50 times your bet. Doesn’t sound high enough? That’s where the special feature come in.

Features

The wild plays a surprisingly important role here. Not only does it complete winning combinations, but also adds multipliers and pays on its own. The wild only shows up on the middle reel, and on random. Sometimes you even get the super-lucky effect of transforming the entire middle reel into wilds. If this happens the player is also awarded a free spin.

The multipliers from wilds are x1, x2, x3, and x7. Each wild adds a multiplier of its own to the symbol combination it completes. The wilds come into play quite often and seem to be paying out more than normal line wins.

Our Take

The only real downside, besides the graphics (if you are so inclined) is the missing grand win. The payouts are a bit low for the volatility, that is until you count in the wild that balances all quite nicely. Despite this…

…you would need quite a lot of luck and a lot of spins to reach the kind of win that would allow you to check out immediately. The game is still worth trying, at least in our opinion.
