Danish trade association signs some big industry names
The latest novelty at the Danish Online Gambling Association (DOGA), founded by bet365, Betfair, Sportingbet and Unibet in December 2011, is that the trade association now includes three new online operators - Ladbrokes, Betsson and Bet24.
The association led by Morten Ronde, the former chief advisor in the Danish Gambling Authority, strives to make the Danish market commercially viable and well regulated. It has been specified that in order to achieve this, it will cooperate with the Danish Gaming Authority in initiating dialogue between all parties in the Danish online gambling arena, including politicians, public authorities, consumer organisations, gambling addiction treatment institutions and operators.
