Deal aims at compliance in regulated markets
A report came this week that online gambling software developer NYX Gaming Group has closed a partnership deal with Nevada-based GeoComply to power its geolocation tools for regulated markets.
It has been specified by Matt Davey CEO of NYX Gaming Group Thursday: "Technology and the gaming market never stop evolving. With the growth in popularity of mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones and Android enabled smart-phones and tablets, conventional IP, GSM or sms-based geolocation can often be unreliable.
“With GeoComply we can confirm a player's physical location, regardless of the device they are using, and to within a few meters of accuracy, ensuring compliance and greater protection for our customers.”
On behalf of GeoComply, its CEO Anna Sainsbury said: "NYX is making great progress penetrating markets all over the world and we are looking forward to being a part of that global expansion".
