Bill gets New Jersey governor’s nod

This week, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed off a bill which permits on-premises gambling in Atlantic City casino resorts, allowing it to be implemented this year.

One of the bill’s co-sponsors, Assemblyman John Burzichelli, assessed that mobile gambling devices are a smart adaptation of technology by the casinos, opining that it will help them stay competitive in an increasingly crowded market and provide the casinos with much needed additional revenues.
