bet365, a UK-based online gambling operator, broke the news this week that one of its players won a jackpot worth GBP 1,506,098 on the Beach Life progressive slot.
Seeking action that was a little different, player MattC moved on to the site's online casino and played the slots which made him the latest online gambling instant millionaire.
The player, who joined bet365 as a mainly sports betting punter a year ago, told the casino management that he was playing with his sound off and could hardly believe his eyes when the big win notification flashed on his screen.
MattC plans to invest the money in property and venture capital funds, but also to splash some cash and get a luxury sports car.
