Thanks to a strategic deal closed with San Francisco-based Unity Technologies, provider of the Unity multi-platform engine and development tools, International Games Technology will be able to showcase the Unity-developed games at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas this week.

Unity boasts 1.2 million registered developers and thousands of game studios across the world in its community, its products being used by land-based, online and mobile gambling companies worldwide.

"We are excited by the opportunities offered by combining IGT's world-class platform and game development, with the power and productivity of the Unity engine. This is an important step in helping us produce our next generation of industry leading games," said Chris Satchel, CTO, IGT.
