A multi-annual licensing agreement has been nailed by WMS Industries' newly formed interactive subsidiary Williams Interactive with Betsson AB and the Unibet Group.
Thanks to the deal, Betsson and Unibet will gain access to WMS' full online games portfolio through its Jadestone subsidiary. The future prospect of the deal also envisages distribution across the online casinos’ mobile channels.
Furthermore, the companies specified that the first WMS games could be expected in their online casinos early in 2013.
According to Orrin J. Edidin, president of WMS Industries and president and chief executive officer of Williams Interactive, “This expanded relationship represents a meaningful expansion in the B2B growth of our interactive products and services. Importantly, together, we have the potential to deliver a significant increase in the slot experience that will soon be offered to their players.”
In related news, another sponsorship deal has been inked by Unibet – this time with Belgian soccer club Standard Liège, to whom it is to become an official betting partner. The deal with the Jupiler Pro League club will see Unibet get LED pitchside advertising and branding on all club materials.
