The Isle of Man-licensed Locus Gaming, a mobile-focused online casino developer founded by industry veterans Ed Andrewes (formerly of Ladbrokes) and Mick d’Ancona, former technical director of GCD Solutions, launched its first mobile product this week in shape of the Jack Wild Casino.
The title is so similar to the well-established Microgaming-powered online casino Wild Jack Casino that also offers mobile gambling so it could lead to confusion, but these experienced online gambling executives were surely aware of that.
The Locus offering can be played on smartphones and tablets, and includes slot games, roulette and blackjack. Reportedly there have been some minor problems on presentation, probably the result of the plethora of mobile platforms available to players.
The instant-play slot titles from Realistic Gaming include Slots and Ladders, Double Bubble, Tutankhamun, Pentagram, Sunset Reels and Over the Rainbow, and the future plans include bringing on Flash and HTML5 technology games from top suppliers Sheriff Gaming, NYX, NextGen and Microgaming.
