A notice has been issued by the Federal Trade Commission of the early termination of the waiting period under the HSR Act, in relation to Scientific Games' proposed acquisition of WMS Industries.
With the termination of the HSR Act waiting period, one of the conditions required for completion of the merger has been satisfied, even though the transaction remains subject to additional conditions, including the approval of the merger agreement by WMS stockholders and receipt of gaming approvals.
