Slovenia-based developer ComTrade Gaming has acquired the Alderney Gambling Control Commission e-gaming license, with which it can offer its e-gaming platform to a range of new customers.
ComTrade Gaming registered as a company in Alderney in 2012 and applied for licensing, which was awarded a few months later, in March 2013. According to t ComTrade Gaming spokesman, the company had to pass various rigorous approval conditions and tests imposed by the AGCC.
The testing itself was conducted by SIQ, a professional independent and impartial institution providing complete solutions in the field of product testing, and who are accredited to do so by the AGCC, the spokesman revealed.
Regarding such a positive development, Ales Gornjec, director of products and solutions at ComTrade Gaming commented: “We have been issued with a category two licence which means that we are now able to provide customers with our platforms integrated with best of breed content, either through a cloud based service or dedicated customer environments. This represents a huge step for us as a company and this move comes from the desire to expand our leading product offering on a global level and in to new markets.”
